What is Shake?

CBG shake is CBG hemp flower that’s finely milled and ready for use in a vaporizer or other consumption device. Ground flower is commonly used in pre-rolls or simply sold in packaging of its own. You may also see it referred to as “pre-ground flower.”

CBG shake primarily consists of small pieces of hemp flower and leaves, which are collected from hand-manicuring cured buds. This includes the small leaves, often called “sugar leaves,” growing out the sides of a hemp bud that usually glister with trichomes. These are sugar crystal-like glands that get their name from their appearance; and they’re extremely important parts of the cannabis plant. After all, it’s where most of the plants cannabinoids (like THC and CBD) and terpenes are stored.
