iKrusher Calibr cartridges are designed for easy filling, typically featuring a wide-mouth design to minimize spills and can be filled using a syringe with a needle.
Filling Instructions for Calibr Carts
The general process involves unscrewing the mouthpiece, filling, and then re-attaching the mouthpiece with specific post-filling steps to ensure optimal performance and prevent leaks or clogs.
Prepare the oil: For best results, pre-heat your oil/concentrate to around 122°F (50°C) to ensure a smooth flow.
Unscrew the mouthpiece: Remove the mouthpiece to expose the filling area. Do not attempt to fill the cart with the mouthpiece attached, as some designs (like the Calibr Max) are “easy-press” and cannot be reopened once sealed.
Fill the cartridge: Use a glass tip syringe or syringe with a needle (at least 2.0mm/15-gauge width is recommended) to fill the tank. Insert the tip into the glass tank.
Avoid the center post: Be careful not to get any oil into the central airflow hole, which can cause clogging or leakage.
Cap the mouthpiece: Screw or press the mouthpiece back on evenly within 1.5 minutes of filling, or sooner for thinner concentrates, to prevent potential leakage as the oil cools. I
Invert the cartridge for saturation: Immediately after sealing, flip the cart upside down for 30 minutes. This allows the oil to cool away from the coil and helps prevent leakage. Flip it right side up for another 30 minutes. This ensures the iKonic Ceramic coil is fully saturated, which helps prevent dry hits.
Store properly: Store the filled cartridge in a cool, dry place, ideally between 68°F–77°F. Once these steps are complete, the cartridge is ready to be attached to any standard 510 thread vape battery and used.
