5 Facts About CBD You Should Know

1. CBD is one of the most researched cannabinoids

CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoids meaning there is no “high” effect when consuming any sort of CBD product as long as it contains <0.3% of THC. CBD actually binds to your CB2 receptors vs THC which binds to your CB1 and CB2 receptors which is why you get “high” after smoking marijuana.

We naturally produce cannabinoids in what is called our “endocannabinoid system”. This affects multiple bodily processes such as our mood, appetite, pain, and other cognitive functions!

4. CBD can help with Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency

People suffering with CECD produce a lower amount of naturally produced cannabinoids. Some negative effects of this could result in Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Autism, Parkinson’s Disease, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

5. Yes, CBD is safe
