Texas Gov. Abbott has a bill sitting on his desk that would ban all THC. He has until June 22 to sign the bill into law or Veto it.
In Texas (this bill will ban all hemp products including vape, Sept 1, 2025), in Tennessee (a THCA, THCv and D8 ban goes into effect Jan 1, 2026), and in Alabama (a ban goes into effect Jul 1, 2025 to ban all smokeables, including THC vapes and limits THC servings to 10mg). These states are at the forefront of hemp bans — but the truth is, alcohol and tobacco lobbies are quietly pushing bans in states across the country.
