20MG D9 THC Sour Green Apple Reaction

Hello and welcome back to the RESTART blog. My name is Shayda and you are tuning in to another one of our product reviews. This one specifically is sharing a brand new 20 milligram Delta nine THC Gummy flavor. So if you’re ready to tune in to see the new flavor, or maybe you’re new to our world and you’re just curious, what the heck is this girl going to do with a 20 milligram Delta nine THC Gummy? I say welcome. Welcome to the RESTART blog.

So with that said, it is about 07:00pm on a Monday night. I’m not usually this descriptive about when and where I’m taking the edible, but I think that it’s important, again, just for some education around cannabis, around THC in particular, be mindful of how many milligrams your body’s responding to. So for me, it’s the end of day. I know that I am going to go to sleep in the next couple of hours, and if you’ve watched our videos of me reviewing and consuming our THC edibles, then you know and you’ve heard that edibles can take time to digest and therefore, edibles can take time to take their full effect. So this is something that I don’t recommend you do before you have a big event or somewhere to go. If you are not used to THC and you’re cautious, I always recommend starting with the lowest amount possible. That could mean taking, for example, a 20 milligram edible and eating a quarter of it for 5 milligrams. That could mean just buying and consuming a lower dose milligram, like a 5 milligram edible, which we offer at RESTART. We offer a bunch of different ranges, flavors, price points, sizes of gummies, certainly these doses of THC and other cannabinoids. And so really, the point of these are to help you feel more comfortable, to feel more confident exploring, trying, and ultimately figuring out what works best for you.

So I know what my body responds to — 10 to 15 MG is my happy place. Because it’s end of day, I’m ready to go chill out, get a couple of little things done on my computer, but for the most part, I’m chilling out, I’m unwinding, and I’m going to go to sleep. And so for me, I really enjoy using and taking THC specifically for sleep as well as for pain management. I use cannabis in particular to help me manage my pain. In fact, today’s kind of an exciting day. I was in a car accident about eight years ago. Hit by vehicle as a pedestrian — Broke my pelvis.

So I went to see a doctor earlier this month, and I’m having pain in my little pinky, and I feel crazy because I’ve had this pain since the accident, really. But that’s not really the premise of this conversation. Although if you are dealing with pain, you’re not alone. And that’s certainly a foundation for us here at restart. We started this business as an extension of me navigating my chronic pain with cannabis and that’s why I like to bring it up and just highlight that if you are someone who’s also navigating through things like that, that cannabis can help, but it’s ultimately figuring out what works best for you.

So back to my long short story. We went to go see doctors — Over the years, this has been a progression of trying to figure it out. The point I was trying to make is nobody’s going to advocate for you like you advocating for you. So I’ve been relentless trying to figure things out, getting scans done, getting tests done, seeing different types of doctors, and today I finally got my MRI results back, saw the doctor, and there is something on my scan, and he thinks it’s liquid. I’m now going to go see a hand specialist.

More to come, for sure. But I’m again, sharing this because I’m going to go to sleep soon, and I can’t sleep. I know my hand, it doesn’t look like there is much there, but I promise you, it feels like someone is just stabbing me with a sharp, sharp pain. Obviously, the MRI showed that there is something there, putting compression on that part of my nerve. Regardless, I use cannabis to help me sleep soundly at night. I’m not on any prescription medication. I’m not on anything else over the counter I use cannabis 100%. And so this is not an endorsement so much as, say, figure out what works best for you.

I’m not a doctor. I’m not a medical professional. You do have to, obviously, take the ownership to figure out what’s going to work best for you. This is just my story, but it’s been a great day. We’re making progress. And it’s nighttime, and I thought to myself, I owe you guys a video on our new flavor. And it was time for me to take my daily edible before bed, which I do. I take anywhere from 10 to 20 milligrams before bed every night, because best night’s sleep is I don’t wake up with pain.

So I’m going to get back to that flavor, the new flavor, seasonally. We release seasonal flavors kind of quarterly, sometimes more or less throughout the year. But for the most part, we are always trying to work on new flavors that we can introduce for you guys. Keep it kind of interesting. And for fall, we are releasing a sour green apple. This makes me think of caramel apples. It makes me think of fall. Spooky. Trick or treating. So we’re super excited to have the flavor introduced and shared with you guys!

This is now available on our website and in our store. You can get these in singles, you can get them in ten packs, and then you can also get them in our six pack. So we have got some options! You all know the drill. We are going to be eating this. We’re going to taste it. We’re going to smell it. We’re going to see how the effects take effect and how long they take effect. I’m excited to try this flavor. I haven’t had this flavor since we formulated it, so this is going to be a refresh for both you and I. These are our 20 milligram gummies. Like I was mentioning earlier, if you don’t want to eat the whole 20 milligrams, that’s okay. Cut it in half, cut it in quarters, nibble on it. The choice is yours. The options are endless!

I think these are a great buy for the economical people who do want to cut them up, because then you’re getting more gummies, more servings, etc. But if you’re like me and you’re just going to eat the whole thing. Bottoms up to us! Here we go. Don’t worry, the sour is not too sour. It just is like a nice little rounding out to the flavor. Tastes delicious. Honestly, it’s not super appley. I think sometimes there’s things that taste artificial. This just tastes subtle, like a nice little sour apple. If you’re getting ready for fall, you’re hearing the leaves start to drop, the wind is starting to blow through. You want to put on something spooky on tv, whether it’s a horror movie or something a little bit more fun, like beetlejuice, you can do whatever you want to do. In fact, I honestly recommend 10/10 getting the green sour apple gummies and doing something fun Halloween/fall festive!

In fact, let me know in the comments below what something fun Halloween/fall festive you want to do. And in the meantime, I’m going to go take a break. We’re going to see how this goes. My guesstimation, because I’ve done this so many times before, is it’ll take anywhere from 1-3 hours for it to fully peak. You have to imagine your body is digesting this. It’s breaking it down, it’s processing it. Have you eaten anything? Do you have food in your body? Do you not have food in your body? Those are all components to take into consideration for me because I consume cannabis, I know I’ll be okay. If you are someone who is cautious, less is more.

Check back in a little bit…

Ooh, that light is so bright. Okay, so it is almost 2 hours in. Definitely feel it. I think some of the noticeable things are obviously I’m really sensitive and aware of my pain when I’m not on cannabis. And so that feels nice. Again, I take these products to help me unwind, relax, go to sleep, stay asleep, and not feel the inflammation. And it’s preparing me just for that. I know that I’m going to have a really cozy night’s rest, but otherwise I feel fine.

I don’t know, probably at this point, honestly, I think I could have a conversation with people. Obviously I’m having a conversation with you guys right now, but I’m not in public. I think if it was kicking in a little bit longer, maybe another hour, maybe that tune would change. But for me, again, maybe it’s also my tolerance 15-20 milligrams. I’ve been kind of working my way up there. I do consume THC daily. I think that’s another opportunity, maybe to have that conversation in this video. There are definitely tolerances that your body will hit when it comes to THC.

So, for example, I took six months off of cannabis last fall, and when I was being reintroduced to cannabis, I felt it way more sensitively. So like 1 milligrams, five milligrams was a lot for me. But as I’ve started taking it more consistently, I’ve noticed my body is responding to a little bit more. Now, there’s obviously pros and cons to that one. I think a con is just your body is acclimating to it. So it’s quite enjoyable to be able to be on THC because I get the benefits and I’m not — I don’t know if sedated is coming to mind, but that’s not necessarily the word. But obviously sometimes when you over consume (I’m sure you can relate) You don’t want to be in public, you don’t want to be conversational, you don’t want to communicate. And so I think that idea that that is a way that it can go is something to keep in mind also.

When your body responded to five milligrams, now your body’s needing ten milligrams, which is normal. And that is why tolerance breaks are welcomed. Obviously that looks different to a lot of people. I certainly have a lot of friends who consume who don’t take breaks. I’m also kind of one of them. I really didn’t take a break for the longest time. But I think learning about other cannabinoids — benefiting CBN with CBD maybe helps for sleep where you can then lower your THC percentage and THC milligrams or vice versa and just kind of exploring these different cannabinoids. I was saying different form factors can play a factor. So these are obviously edibles, but there’s also smokables, capsules, things like that. So different consumption methods will also absorb differently in your body and process differently in your body and your bloodstream. So just keep that in mind. Again, pro/con. I wouldn’t say that it’s always a bad thing. I wouldn’t say it’s obviously always a good thing.

It just is learning your body and responding to what your body likes, doesn’t like, and navigating through that. So again, my whole goal with these blogs is to make you feel comfortable, make you feel confident, make you feel like this isn’t some big, scary thing. I think the word cannabis and THC are still super stigmatized. And so I love using these blogs as an opportunity to destigmatize the cannabis plant.

These gummy’s are all available at our website, www.restartcbd.com, and also in our storefront.
